Ohio School Rankings Released

BY JENNIFER MROZOWSKI ENQUIRER STAFF WRITER

Ohio school district rankings are out, and some area school systems have improved their rankings, but others have fallen.

Bethel-Tate schools in Clermont County, Fairfield schools in Butler County and Southwest schools in Hamilton County jumped from Effective, the second-highest rating, to Excellent, the top rating.

Lockland, Winton Woods and St. Bernard school districts rose from Continuous Improvement, the middle of five state rankings for academics, to Effective.

Rankings are based on test scores, attendance and other measures for the 2005-06 school year.
Princeton schools fell to Continuous Improvement from Effective.
The Cincinnati Public School District has maintained its Continuous Improvement ranking.

Butler County Backs Down!

Victory!

Butler County Commissioners yesterday voted to rescind their earlier decision to boost the real estate transfer tax to 4 mills from 3 mills.

The move will save property owners approx. $2,000,000 annually.

Thus, the matter of taking this issue to the ballot on Nov. 7 is null. The Realtors' initiative to get enough signatures on petitions proved successful.

May I Ask You To Call Me?

Recently a client asked me,
“What's the best way to refer people I care about to you?”
The reason he asked was that in the past few weeks, he had recommended that a friend and two colleagues contact me. I asked him the names of the people he referred to me. To our surprise, only one of the three had actually contacted me.

The advice I gave him was to call me directly whenever he knew someone who could benefit from my service, and we could discuss the best way for me to connect with his family, friends and colleague. The good news is, now my client is calling me directly whenever the people he cares about need my service. The result is that now his referrals are getting the advice they need to make the wisest real estate decisions.

When you want to refer a family member, friend or colleague to me, simply call me directly with their name, so we can discuss the best way to approach them. I will take great care of them and keep you updated on their progress.
“A referral is sending someone you care about to someone you respect.”
